Lisa’s Obituary Lisa Anne (Wagner) Phipps, age 49, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Clayton Gospel Church with Pastor Mike Phipps, officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico. Lisa Anne (Wagner) Phipps was born on February 15, 1970 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Wesley M. Wagner and Margaret (Vigil) Wagner. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1988 and attended Eastern New Mexico University. Lisa married Shane Phipps on July 29, 1993 in Clayton. They lived in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Amistad and Clayton. Lisa loved her family and she was very involved in every organization and activity that her sons were in. She was an active 4-H leader and was active in the Clayton Youth Supporters. Lisa worked as a banker in Oklahoma and as a bus driver in Clayton as well as having a day care in her home where she cared for numerous children for many years, she was very artistic and she loved animals, especially horses and dogs. Lisa was preceded in death by her father; Wesley M. Wagner on June 11, 1971, her mother; Margret Wagner on September 18, 2011, her birth mother; Kathy Edwards Bute and by a cousin; Judy Davidson. SURVIVORS : HUSBAND: Shane Phipps of Clayton. 3 SONS: Justin Phipps, Joshua Phipps and Jesse Phipps all of Clayton. 1 GRANDDAUGHTER: Alexandrea Grace Medellin Phipps of Clayton. 1 BROTHER: Scott Wagner and his wife Sheri of Clayton. 3 SISTERS: Kristin Lickliter and her husband Charlie and Tiffany Bute all of Oklahoma and Amber Smith and her husband Jeremy of Kansas. STEP-FATHER: Larry Bute of Ponca City, Oklahoma. AUNT & GOD-MOTHER: Kathryn Garcia of Clayton. Father-in-law & mother-in-law: Mike and Pam Phipps of Clayton. Grandmother-in-laws: Liz Phipps of Clayton and Rose Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. 2 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Mia Lopez and her husband Lelo of Lovington, New Mexico and Megan Webb and her husband Jesse of Lander, Wyoming. Nieces & Nephews: Wesly Wagner, Brady Wagner, Cyrus Wagner, Derek Wagner, Kayla Vandiver, Kristi Wagner, Trinity Soutter, Titan Callshin, Justin Smith, Jace Smith, Jasper Smith, Alexis Smith, Arabella Smith, Graci Lopez, Ivette Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Isaiah Webb, Caleb Webb, Lydia Webb and Nathan Webb.
