Linda R. Elliott, 81, of Carmi passed away at 1:05 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi. She was born in Olney, IL on November 12, 1937 the daughter of Amel and Mary Roberta (Jaques) Reid. Linda married David B. Elliott on April 12, 1957 and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1995. She had worked at the Baptist Childrens Home. She later worked at KMart and then as a cashier and greeter at Walmart. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Grayville. Linda is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Don) Ridenour and Vicky (Keith) Botsch all of Carmi; two sons, David (Denise) Elliott of Fairfield and Jeff (Gail) Elliott of Carmi; a sister, Mary Kay Wood of Grayville; four grandchildren, Gail Elliott, Landis Elliott, Katelyn Botsch and Madison Botsch; five step-grandchildren, Lindsay Botsch (Skip, Devin and Mya), Ryan Botsch (Allison and Lola), Jimmy Tyner, Megan Austin and Wesley Tyner; one great-grandchild, MiLynn Miles Elliott; two step-great-grandchildren, Kasen and Gracie; and friend Mike Spaetti. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Fred Reid. Funeral services for Linda R. Elliott, 81, of Carmi will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Campbell Funeral Home.
