Linda Lou Jones passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her home in Des Moines after a long battle with COPD. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held from 2-5:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the bandstand in the Carlisle North Park. Linda was born to Wilma and Casey Jones on March 6, 1955. She would always say she was a classic! Linda graduated from Carlisle High School Class of 1973. Linda loved her family. They meant everything. Linda is survived by her 3 sisters, Judy, Cindy and Robin; 2 brothers, Jerry and David Jones; life partner Earl; 4 daughters, Gina, Jeri, Melinda and Danielle; her BABY Boy Joey, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Linda’s smile would light up a room. Her flare for family was her biggest asset. Linda showed us all how to live and love (Ohana) family means everything. She will be dearly missed.
