Lillian Marie Kehl August 03, 1928 – May 13, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Lillian Marie Kehl, 90, of Connersville passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 3, 1928 in Logootee, Indiana to the late Irvin Miller and Mabel Russell Miller. On April 3, 1949 she married Keith Eugene Kehl in Rushville, Indiana, they were able to spend 50 years together before he passed away on January 4, 1999. She attended Park Place Church of God in Connersville. She was a 1946 graduate of Rushville High School. After graduation, she attended Ball State Teachers College. Lillian was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority, Fayette County Republicans and several Bridge Clubs. Also she was a member of the Whitewater Shrine Auxiliary, where she had served as the President for 2 years. She was on the Precinct Committee for the Fairview Township for 20 years. Lillian assisted with the family farm, where she has been the President of Kehl Farms and Kehl Anco Corporation for the past 7 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed attending the dances at the Raleigh Club, and playing bridge and euchre. She was an avid Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts fan and rarely missed a game. Lillian is survived by her loving daughter, Kathryn Sue Suzuki; two great granddaughters, Taylor Leigh Banks and Alyshah Madyson Kehl; and many great grandsons; she will also be greatly missed by many friends. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sons, David Keith Kehl and Robert Gene Kehl; three brothers, Lester Gene Miller, Irvin G. Miller Jr. and Jack Samuel Miller; a sister, Estella Mae Copple; and two grandsons, Mark Andrew Mullins and Richard Keith Suzuki. Visitation for Lillian will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Urban Winkler Funeral home, 513 W. 8th Street Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Shawn O’Connor officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
