Earrey February 09, 1940 – May 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Lellei Dillard Shackelford Earrey, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center. A life-long resident of the Union Community, she was born February 9, 1940, to Raymond H. and Maynard Minnie Hall Shackelford. She was a graduate of Nettleton High School and received a degree in nursing from Itawamba Community College. For over 30 years, she worked with One Hour Martinizing managing the West Main store. Lellei loved flowers and flower arranging and enjoyed playing Bingo with her fellow residents at the Meadows in Fulton where she resided the past year and a half. Survivors include her son, Mickey South of the Union Community; granddaughter, April South Esparza of Tupelo; and great-granddaughter, Rosa Leah Esparza of Haleyville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert Earrey who died in 1985. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
