Bean, Jr. 72, of Shanks, WV passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at his home surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice. Born on December 31, 1946, he was the son of Criselta Bean and the late Lawrence Bean, Sr. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carole. Surviving with his mother are three brothers, Steven, Eddy, and Phillip; two sisters, Carolyn and Alice; four stepsons, James, David, Donald and Terry Marple and their families. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Mountain Dale Cemetery, Shanks, WV. Pastor Denzil Davis will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 or Mountain Dale Cemetery Fund, c/o Bank of Romney, P.O. Box 876, Romney, WV 26757. All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
