Larry V. Brooksher, age 76, Logansport, passed away at 2:50 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019, in Miller’s Merry Manor. Born October 14, 1942, in Galveston, Texas, he was the son of Clovis Vaughn Brooksher and Mildred Ruth Thorne Brooksher (Harris). Larry was married to Judy Barnett on January 17, 1990. She survives. He was a graduate of Marion High School and attended Marion College. He owned and operated A & A Home Improvement Company for 40 years. Larry enjoyed fishing and frequently took his grandchildren fishing. He was an avid shopper. More than anything he loved his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, JoyL (Tim) Spencer, Logansport, Sherry Branham, Logansport, Kelly Brooksher, Marion, Indiana, Todd (Jackie) Brooksher, Marion, Indiana, Judy (Randy) Barton, Kentucky; sister, Alicia (Jerry) Kraynick, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also surviving are grandchildren, Hunter Hewitt, Saige Hewitt, Ashton Hewitt, Emilee Branham, Mason Branham, Brandy Barton, Brittany Barton and Bryan Barton; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were a brother, John Brooksher and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Brooksher. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The funeral service and celebration of Larry’s life will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, with Pastor Jeff Moss officiating, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Cass County.
