Korbin’s Obituary Korbin Dean Massey, 20, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Phoenix, AZ. He was born August 18, 1998 in Brush, Colorado to Cindy and Brooks Massey. Korbin grew up in Brush, where he attended school and graduated from Brush High School in 2017. While attending BHS Korbin was active in basketball and cross country. He was also a volunteer at Blue Horizons. After high school, Korbin moved to Phoenix to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. In January 2019 he graduated from MMI, certified in Yamaha & Harley Davidson repair. He was employed as a repair-technician at Ridenow Powersports in Phoenix, AZ. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved action events – camping, dirt bike riding, jet skiing, snowboarding, paintball, bow fishing, and meeting new people and making new life-long friends along the way. He also enjoyed gaming online with friends he has made across the country. Most of all his passion was riding his sport bike. Survivors include his grandparents, Betty and Jay Massey of Brush; Parents, Cindy and Brooks Massey of Brush; 2 brothers, Kyler (Janessa) of Brush and Kevin (Raelene) of Hillrose, CO; 1 niece and 4 nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Brush High School Auditorium at a later date. There will also be a memorial service held in Phoenix, AZ at a date and location to be determined. Read More
