Kim Marie Anderson, 51 of Duluth, died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Solvay Hospice House with her family by her side. Kim was born Oct. 5, 1967 in Duluth to Vernon and Ilene Anderson. She was a graduate of Beaver River Christian School. Kim worked for UDAC on a cleaning crew, a job she enjoyed. She was a member of the Fredenberg Chapel. Kim enjoyed shopping, eating out, going to movies, golfing and anything to do with being outside. She’ll be remembered for her giggling and her sense of humor. Kim will be greatly missed. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Vernon; niece, Amy Lyn Anderson and nephew, Michael James Montgomery. Kim is survived by her mother, Ilene Anderson; siblings, Jeanne (Tom) Gearhart, Dianna (the late Joe Schelafoe) Anderson; Steve (Lori Peetsch) Anderson, Mike (Kristi) Anderson, Bruce (Bonnie) Anderson and many nieces, nephews, as well as her Trillium family, UDAC family and many friends. Kim’s family would like to thank the staff at Solvay Hospice House, for their loving care of Kim. Visitation will begin Thursday, May 16th at 11 am, with services at 12 noon in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Burial will be at Noble Hill Cemetery, Fredenberg.
