Karen Sue Speicher, 58, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at her home on May 22nd, 2019 Karen was born in Winimac, Indiana to Paul and Shirley Speicher on June 23rd, 1960. Karen graduated from the Indiana Soldier and Sailor’s Children’s Home in 1979 and went on to obtain her bachelor’s at Indiana State University, graduating in 1983. Karen was employed by the State of Indiana for 15 years doing what she loved as a recreational director. Later in her life, Karen was employed by Kroger for several years. Karen loved worshipping God, and enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fires, and staying active. She loved and enjoyed her rottweiler, Kasey. Most of all, though, she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Surviving is Karen’s only child, Terri Anna Speicher Klodzen and Terri’s husband, Neil Klodzen of Bloomington, Indiana, as well as Karen’s three grandchildren, August, Juniper, and Beatrice Klodzen. Also surviving are Karen’s sisters, Paulene Ridgeway and Kay Denney. Preceding Karen in death are her parents and her brother, Ernest Speicher. The love of Karen’s life, Terry Gooden, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2016. Karen loved Jesus and was excited to meet him. While grieving, Karen’s family is rejoicing over Karen’s homecoming with the Lord.
