Obituary of June M. Stanley June M. (Stephenson) Stanley, 81, a resident of Skippack, PA for over 40 years, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. She and her husband, John Stanley, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 25th of this year. Born June 2, 1937, in Whitehaven, England, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Doris (Connor) Stephenson. Mrs. Stanley was a realtor and was employed for many years with Continental Real Estate until her retirement in 2005. Along with her husband, she enjoyed traveling back to England on a regular basis and taking road trips throughout the United States. Her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Kelly A. Focht and her husband, Bruce M., Ian J. Stanley, and Victoria L. Ruzzi and her husband, Mario, all of Skippack, PA; five grandchildren, Erin and her husband Joe, Brian, Emily, Laura and Shannon; and two great granddaughters, Evelyn and Elena. She is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Dalton of Whitehaven, England, and Susan Ruddy of Manchester, England. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Anthony Stephenson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
