Jose Valenzuela Dioso, 75 years old, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2019. Jose was born in Bugasong Antique, Philippines on March 6, 1944 to Jovita Valenzuela and Sylvestre Dioso . He married the love of his life Luzviminda Elisan on May 11, 1968. They settled in Olongapo City, Philippines and Jose worked as a bartender at U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay for 28 years. In 1991, the Dioso family moved to California and Jose continued working as a bartender. Jose and Luzviminda were married for over 50 years. Jose is survived by his beloved wife Luzviminda; his four children: Jonathan (married to Arlynn Valerio), Jomynn (married to Louie Dela Vega), Julius (married to Jevilyn Amores), and Jericho (married to Holly Vo); and his ten grandchildren: Jazlyn, Acel, Jonas, Anika, Kayli, Moses, Jurrel, Jayne, Hanna, and Haylee. A viewing will be held at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary on Saturday May 11 from 4 PM to 8 PM. The funeral will be held on Monday May 13 at 10 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church located at 1445 Conway Dr. Escondido, CA 92027. Jose will be buried at Oakhill Memorial Cemetery. Reception will be held after the funeral at Pan Asia Buffet located at 707 Center Dr, San Marcos, CA 92069.
