John P. Jack, 83, of Magnolia, AR passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Community Compassion Center in Magnolia. John was born October 22, 1935 in Magnolia to the late Douglas Houston and Tommie Faye (Keith) Jack. He retired after 29 years as plant manager from Albemarle. He was a member of the Antioch West Baptist Church, co-founder of the Lakeside Water Association, and president of the Jack Hunting Club. He was an outdoorsman and an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy Lou (Aldridge) Jack, and his sister Eloise Killingsworth. He is survived by his three sons Scott Jack and wife Susan, Gary Jack and wife Jeanne, and Michael Jack and wife Angie of Magnolia; grandchildren Jasper Jack and wife Sherry, Morgan Bailey, and Brandon Jack of Magnolia, Cory Jack and wife Magen of El Dorado, and Sydney Grubbs and husband Hunter of Hot Springs; great grandchildren Landon Smith , Abigail Jack of Magnolia, Adalynn Grubbs of Hot Springs, and Dawson Jack of El Dorado; sister Katie Long and husband Morris of Magnolia; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch West Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Lucy and Bro. Aaron Middleton officiating. Burial will follow at the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jasper Jack, Cory Jack, Brandon Jack, Mark Langley, Randy Rouse, and Bob Killingsworth. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Hudman, Frank Worley, Mike Skinner, and James Garrett.
