John Michael Muma May 30 1954 May 30 2019 (age 65)

John Michael “Mike” Muma ,age 65 of Alvin, passed away on May 30, 2019. His life journey began on May 30, 1954 in Galveston, Texas when he was born to parents John Hugh and Eunice Marvelene (Hargett) Muma. He was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He was a pipe fitter and welder by trade but in his spare time his favorite thing to do was go fishing. He also loved to watch old western movies and listen to his CB radio. He enjoyed to hunt in his younger years but as he got older his appreciation for wildlife grew. He came to realize that the only thing he wanted to shoot was a camera. He also thoroughly enjoyed being “Grandpa Mike.” He is preceded in death by his parents; John and Eunice Marvelene Muma: and sister; Beverly Ann Newman. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter; Stephanie Long and husband John: grandson; Quentin Long: niece; Tracey Harper and husband Terry: niece; Shelly Guerrero and husband Donald: nephew; David (Mike) Newman: great nieces; Kirstie, Kelsie, Makenzie and Makayla, along with other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his honor. www.heart.org
