John Eugene Archer, 64 of Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A lifelong native of Johnson City, he is the son of the late Warren Archer and Mary Lou Archer (Dr. John Platt). In addition to his parents and step-father, John was also preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Warren Archer. John was an avid golfer and loved talking with people; he’d never met a stranger. He leaves behind many family, friends, and loved ones. A celebration of Johnny’s life will be conducted on Sunday, May 19th at The Barn at Boone Falls Reserve beginning at 6:30 pm.
