John Eric Petersen, 53, of rural Es entered into rest on Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home following a lengthy battle with cancer. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Preceding John in death were his wife Alice Reed Petersen; sister, Susan Lynn Petersen; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Troy Eugene Petersen of Es; father, Robert E. Petersen of Es and mother, Paula E. Petersen of Shenandoah; other relatives and many friends.
