Jim’s Obituary Jim K. “Hilly” Hilligoss, 78, of Auburn, IL, formerly of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 12:55 a.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL Masonic Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Graveside Services will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery with Rev. Les Evans officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Jim was born on October 17, 1940 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Dean and Dorothy McGuire Hilligoss. Survivors include his sons: Tim (Trina) Hilligoss of Tuscola, IL and Chris (Karen) Hilligoss of Montgomery, IL, grandson: Samuel Hilligoss and granddaughter: Isabella Hilligoss, sister: Loretta Murphy and nephew, Mark Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew: Steve Murphy. Jim retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company, having worked at the Tuscola, Glenarm and Waverly locations. He was a member of the Ark & Anchor Masonic Lodge #0354, AF & AM, Auburn, IL.
