Jesse Joe Bailey December 23, 1978 – May 22, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Jesse Joe Bailey, 40, of New Marshfield, passed away Wednesday May 22, 2019 as a result of an accident in Coolville, Ohio. He was born December 23, 1978 in Athens County, Ohio, son of Marty (Jodi) Bailey of Guysville and Deborah Jo Whiteman of New Marshfield. Also of the residence is his girlfriend and companion of six years, Holly Keeney. He was employed as a Tree Cutter with Bob Ashcraft Logging and Dozer Service in Guysville. Jesse enjoyed riding and being around horses; hunting and fishing. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed. Along with his parents and girlfriend, he is survived by brother, Martin “Pete” (Jenna Barber) Bailey of Logan; paternal grandfather, Donald Bailey of Guysville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; also many dear friends including, Kenny McLain Sr. and fellow employees, Bob and Robin Ashcraft, Brad and Bryce Ashcraft. Jesse was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, George and Vivian Whiteman and paternal grandmother, Charlotte Bailey. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the Souers Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Larry Cain officiating. Interment will be in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service at the funeral home.
