Jerry’s Obituary Jerry Lee Meadows, 68, of Elkton died Sunday May 19, 2019 at Journeys Crossing in Elkton. Born in Elkton, VA on February 24, 1951 he was the son of the late Rudolph Garland and Margie Dean Meadows. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Debra Ann Meadows, who passed away on March 4, 2019; a sister Pamela Good and a brother Mark Meadows. Mr. Meadow’s was, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and was a retired electrician. He loved to play golf, shoot pool, and hunted his entire life. He is survived by his daughters Melinda Mowbray and her husband Timmy of Elkton, Susie Hammer and her husband Billy of Shenandoah; a son Jeremy Meadows and his wife Heather of Elkton; two brothers James Meadows and his wife Lynn of Winchester, Jonathan Meadows and his wife Rita of Elkton; a sister Judy Hedrick of Harrisonburg; 6 grandchildren, Billy Hammer, Jr., Tyler Mowbray, Courtlynn Meadows, John Hammer, Garrett Meadows, Abbie Hammer and many nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Elk Run Cemetery with Pastor Carter Dean officiating. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.kygers.com.
