Jeanette “Jen”‘s Obituary Salem, MA – Jeanette Kelly (Jen) passed away with her loved ones by her side on the evening of Friday, May 17, 2019. Born in Lowell, MA, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Janiss (White) Sylvester and Wendell Sylvester and the mother of two sons who passed; Shawn and Matthew Kelly. Jeanette was married to Edward Kelly in 1980 and worked at Suburban Real Estate for 10 years and then left to raise her sons. After raising her sons, she went back into the workforce as an Executive Assistant for MIT. Jeanette will be remembered as a loving mother to her children and a caring aunt, sister and friend by all who knew her. Jeanette loved to watch football on Sunday’s with her son Adam and rooting for the New England Patriots. She enjoyed reading and discussing books with her son Joshua and discussing films with both. Jeanette enjoyed music and attending concerts for her favorite bands Journey and Bon Jovi. She also enjoyed traveling on family trips that included beach vacations along with family get togethers in North Conway. Jeanette leaves behind her sons Adam and Joshua Kelly, her sisters Gail Hardy Lyrae Bowzer, brothers Wendell and Bryan Sylvester and large extended family.
