Obituary of Jean Burns Wallace Jean Burns Wallace, 87, widow of Staten Wallace, died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Covenant Place. Born in Greensboro, N.C. she was a daughter of the late Marion Burns, Jr. and Minnie Koester Hunt Burns. Surviving are three children, John C. Gregory, Delores Hollen and Colleen Vincent (Thad); nine grandchildren, Jennifer Hollen, Catherine Hinson (Tyler), Lindsay Hollen, Thad Vincent (Lara), Jason Vincent (Jessamie), Laurie Reid (Matt), Billy Ferguson (Laura), Kenny Gregory (Breanna), Ashley Surles (Daniel); and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 140 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 210, Columbia, SC 29210.
