Jean E. Andes, 91, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday May 23, 2019 at the Villa at the Lake. She was born August 10, 1927 in McAlester, OK, she was the daughter of Arthur & Edith (Hardin) Barnett. Jean was a nurse’s aide for Chestnut St. Elementary Schools for thirty years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and growing plants, taking rides down to the lake and watch the sunset, getting together with friends to play games. Jean was the Missionary Secretary Treasurer of the Assembly of God for twenty-five years and was part of the Women’s Missionary Team as well. Survivors include her children, Stephen (Margaret) Andes of North Kingsville, Dale (Pam) Andes of Conneaut, Sandra (Randall) Wilson of Alger, Ohio; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil and two sisters, Sue Rose and Lenore Jensen. A Memorial Service will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday May 28, 2019 at the Federated Church, 11995 Main St., East Springfield, PA 16411. Contributions may be made to WLD Ranch. Envelopes will be available at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
