Jane Marie Blackburn Kimbell of Panama City Beach, Florida April 28, 1929 – May 29, 2019 Jane Marie Blackburn Kimbell was born in Louisville, KY to Robert and Anna Blackburn on April 28, 1929. Throughout her life, she enjoyed the companionship of two wonderful younger sisters, Dorothy and Lois. She was married to Fariss D. Kimbell, Jr., and was the precious mother of Julia Anne (George Tharp), Pamela Jane (David Croxton), Nancy Jane (Ira Burns, Jr.) and Carole Anne (Vernon Colbert). Her passions in life were serving God faithfully, providing exceptional care for her family, and loving on children of all ages. Jane was well-known for her wonderful cooking skills; oh, the chocolate chip cookies she would bake! She also enjoyed listening to Christian music and took great delight in God’s nature, especially hummingbirds. She was blessed with more than a quiver of marvelous grandchildren: eleven grands, eighteen great grands, and three great great grands, with two more on the way! She also had one nephew, four nieces, and multiple great nephews and nieces. Jane Marie Blackburn Kimbell ran her race well, finished the course on May 29, 2019, and is finally home with The Lord she so deeply loved and longed for. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Southerland Event Center in Lynn Haven with Chaplain Conrad Meadows officiating. Flowers are graciously accepted.
