James F. Parker, a master locksmith and a longtime resident of Hamilton, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2019 at the age of 74. James was born on November 24, 1944 in Trenton, NJ to his parents, Robert J. Parker and Helen Michalchuk who preceded him in death. James, an avid golfer, was a member of Olde York Country club, a lifetime member of SAVTA, a member of ALOA, as well as a representative in the Chambers of Commerce for Hamilton, NJ. His business A1 Safe and Lock has served Hamilton and surrounding areas for over 50 years. James was also a supporter of Hamilton youth sports. In his spare time James enjoyed spending time with his family and travelling the world enjoying his passion for golf. James was predeceased by his son, James Parker, Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Anne and Judy Parker; as well as his brothers, Tom and Richard Parker. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Daranella; his children, Anthony Parker (Jeraldine) and Pamela Parker (Earl); his grandchildren, Ryan, Dana, Kaycee (Ryan), Alicia (Dylan), Kellie and Maggie; his great-grandchildren, Noah, Noel, Paislee and Avery; his siblings, Bob (Ginny) Parker, Judy Sheridan, Bill Parker and Steve Parker; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many close friends. James’ life celebration will include a memorial on Thursday, May 23rd from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., with a service beginning at 8:30 p.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690. The family would be honored that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of James to the Children’s Home Society of NJ by visiting In Memory Of at inmemof.org.
