James Taylor Clifford July 08, 1946 – May 02, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card James Taylor Clifford, 72, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1946 to May Lou Harmon Clifford and the late Shelby Clifford. He was a member of Church of the Harvest, retired from Sealmaster and a US Army Veteran. He loved to hunt turkey, fish for croppie, and volunteer/mission work in Mexico. He is survived by his wife, Drema Gaithel Canterbury Clifford; two daughters, Melissa Wells (Jesse) of Frenchburg, KY and Dana Dearmon of Frenchburg, KY; one son, Rick Clifford of Mt. Sterling, KY; one brother, Arnold Clifford (Sue) of Frenchburg, KY; three sisters, Minnie Caudill of Morehead,KY, Betty Lewis of Frenchburg, KY and Elsie Woodward (Rick) of Hendersonville, TN; and four grandchildren, Christopher Dearmon, Caleb Dearmon, Cody Wells and Brent Wells. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Douglas Dearmon. Funeral services will be 4 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Botts Christian Church with Rev. Rick Back, Rev. Marion Fawns and Rev. Mike Welch officiating, burial following at Back Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Botts Christian Church. Pallbearers will be Andy Amburgey, Anthony Daulton, Matt Cooper, Shawn Rudd, Gary Egleston and Irvine “Bo” Fugate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Botts Christian Church-Cancer Relief Fund, PO Box 10, Denniston, KY 40316. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
