Dunkle, 81, of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Carolyn’s House, Hospice Residence. James was born in Everett, PA and was the son of the late Charles and Irene (Baker) Dunkle. He was retired from the Dept. of Payroll Operations, Commonwealth of PA where he was an accountant. James was predeceased by his brother, William S. Dunkle. James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Darla J. (Schnabel) Dunkle; his sister, Donna L. Beegle of Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Pa., 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, Pa. 17110 or to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, 6520 N.
