James Michael Pitonak, age 61, of Medina, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019. He was born on February 3, 1958, in Berea, OH to the late Joseph and Violet (nee Baranuk) Pitonak. James enjoyed his Barney, almost any type of hat, dancing to music, all of John Denver’s music, cracking jokes, and animals (especially his dogs). He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Jean Olen, Shirley (Albert) Juarez, Joseph, Janice (Ron) Krisko, Curt (Shari), Daniel, Gary, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for James will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 9:00 AM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brookpark, OH.
