James’ Obituary James Elijah Clonts, age 63, of Ball Ground, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. James was born in Canton, GA on August 3, 1955. He was a lifelong truck driver and in his spare time he loved riding his Harley and camping with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Bunion Clonts and Pauline Clonts, son; Kirk Clonts, brother; Billy Clonts and sister; Rachel Denson. He is survived by his wife Gail Powell Clonts, daughter; Janel Clonts Jones, stepdaughter; Amber (Rhett) Pritchett, sisters; Blanche Covington, Elizabeth Fisher, Ann Pardue, Buelah Smith, Judy Vaughn, Lynn Kissinger, Mary Peavy, Linda Watkins, brothers; Clyde Clonts, David Clonts, Arvil Clonts, Tommy Clonts, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm and the funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home with Johnny Fisher and Shane Stephenson officiating.
