Imojene Shepherd, 85, of West Pierce Street passed away on May 16, 2019, at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was born on September 3, 1933, to John and Edna McClary in Phoenix, Arizona. Imojene had a big heart and always looked for opportunities to give and serve others. She loved the Lord and was a faithful wife. She commonly would express that, “This place was nothing more than to pass through”, and she lived to tell others the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Imojene was a kind and caring person, and loved spending quality time with her friends and family. She will be missed and remembered always. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley McClary; mother, Edna Edith (Slaughter) McClary; and two sisters. She is survived by her husband Martin Shepherd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
