Helen’s Obituary Helen Alvina Charlson 95, of West Liberty, Kentucky, died Saturday May 25, 2019. Helen was born March 19, 1924 to Herman and Anna Versdahl of McLeod, North Dakota. She was the youngest of six children, Clifford, Myrtle, Oscar, Alvin, Gladys, then Helen. She married Wallace Charlson of Wyndmere, North Dakota on September 21, 1943. They farmed until 1964. They had three sons, Danny, John and Larry and also a son Jr. and a daughter Ellen who died at birth and are buried at the Elk Creek Cemetery at Wyndmere, N D. Also preceding her in death are her parents; brothers and sisters and beloved husband, Wallace. Survivors include, Danny (Sandra) Charlson of Rock Hill, SC, John (Robin) Charlson of Weatherford, TX, Larry (Brenda) Charlson of West Liberty, KY; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Phyllis Versdahl of Spokane, WA, who was married to Clifford. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1954. She faithfully served her God Jehovah, by explaining from the bible her hope of a resurrection of many back to a paradise earth, John 5:28,29. And of living in a physical paradise on earth, Isaiah 65…as mom said, see you there! A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 5 at 1:30 PM at the Elk Creek Cemetery in Wyndmere, ND.
