Richer, 34, of Worcester, MA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 5, 2019. He was the beloved son of Herve E. and Nadine A. (Makowski) Richer, Jr. of Millville, MA. He is the loving brother of Jean-Paul Richer and his wife, Natalie of Scotch Plains, NJ, Michael J. Richer of Pawtucket, RI, and Keith Pace and his wife, Nicki of Johnston, RI. He leaves his cherished nephew and nieces, Jackson, Heidi and Lyla Richer and twins Kennedie and his godchild McKenna Pace. He is the grandson of Marion R. (Archambault) Richer of Bellingham, MA and the late Herve E. Richer, Sr., and Joseph and Dorothy Makowski of Pascoag, RI. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins, and friends. Gregory is a resident of Worcester formerly of Millville where he was raised. He was a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy Class of 2003 and attended New England Institute of Technology for Automotive Engineering. Gregory loved his work as a meat cutter at D’errico’s Market in Worcester and had previously worked at Whole Foods, Wegmans and Roche Brothers. He was an avid video game enthusiast, a fan of the Red Sox and Bruins, and loved listening to music which was a special part of his life. Gregory loved spending time with his family, he loved the simple pleasures of life and had a big heart. Gregory will be greatly missed by all. Funeral will be held on Friday, May 10th at 9:00AM from CARTIER’S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Augustine Church, 15 Lincoln St., Millville, MA. Interment will be private. Visiting hours are on Thursday, May 9th from 4PM to 7PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gregory L.
