Gerald’s Obituary Gerald Wayne Blair, age 79 of Loretto, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born April 14, 1940 in Saint Francis. He retired from Carson Manufacturing in Indianapolis after 25 years of service. His favorite hobby was woodworking. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph Boone and Mary Neoma Edelen Blair; one brother, Joseph Paul Blair; one infant sister, Mary Karen Blair. Survivors include his wife, Linda Stewart Blair; two sons, Doug Blair (Andrew Vaught) of Indianapolis and Kevin Blair of Kokomo, Indiana; one daughter, Carie Fraizer of Franklin, Indiana; five grandchildren; one step-son, Tim Copas (Cassie) of Shelbyville, Indiana; three step-grandchildren; five sisters, Joyce Leake of Loretto, Charlotte Ann Stuckey (Jim) of Greenwood, Indiana, Linda Blair (Ray Brahm) of Loretto, Martha Lyvers (Dan) of Bardstown and Sandra Elder (Kenny) of Saint Mary’s; one brother, Tony Blair (Aina) of Lebanon. Funeral Services be held at 10 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside. Visitation is 3-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant. Pallbearers are Tim Copas, Doug Blair, Andrew Vaught, Billy Elder, Jeremey Blair and Daniel Lyvers. Read More
