Funeral services for George Arthur “Butch” Lowe, age 68, of Granbury, Texas, will be held on Tuesday, May 7 at 1 pm at Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 from 6 – 8 PM at Heartland Funeral home, Early, TX. Mr. Lowe was born February 4, 1951 in Waco, Texas. He passed away May 3, 2019 at his home in Granbury. Butch is preceded in death by his wife JoAnn. They were married July 22, 1972 in Early, Texas. He is survived by his daughter Heather Lee, of George West, Texas, her husband Stewart Lee, and their children Parker, Turner, and Spencer; his son Chance Lowe of Chicago, Illinois, and his husband David Behrns; his loving mother Dale Henderson, of Early, Texas; as well as sister Alicia Lowe, niece Traci Harms Bolton, grandnephew Ethan Beane, grandniece Taylor Rose, her husband Travis and son Thadd, nephew Payton Lowe, his wife Courtney and daughter Charlie, brother Alan Henderson, niece Jackie Henderson and her husband Joey. A dear friend, Santos Martinez, Additionally, Butch is survived by friends too numerous to count. Butch attended Early High School, and for over 30 years worked for Austin Industries in a variety of roles. Butch loved to hunt, fish, barbeque and to be surrounded by his friends and family. He was a kind, good man. He will be greatly missed. The family ask that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
