Frances Tucker, 90, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. She was born on September 16, 1928 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late John and Julia (Merkovsky) Gardlik. Frances was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where she was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was an avid reader and member of the B.F. Jones Library Club. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Michael Tucker; three brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Irene) Gardlik; Edward (Edie) Gardlik; and Thomas (Nancy) Gardlik; and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Cecilia (William) Paczak; Sister Julia Gardlik; and Margaret Gardlik. Frances is survived by six daughters, Patricia (Paul R.) John; Christine Tucker; Marilyn Geisinger; Jeannie (Rick) D’Agostino; Lynn Archer; and Karen (Miguel) Marrero; 14 grandchildren, Tiffany (Edward) Hogya; Paul M. (Jennifer) John; David (Katie) Geisinger; Elena (Damien) Bottles; Christiana (Daniel) Butler; Zachary D’Agostino; Rich Archer (fiancée Carol Luk); Meghan Archer; Alex Archer; Ryan Archer; Eric Tagliaferre; Kaitlyn Tagliaferre (fiancé Jordan Wall) ; Kelly Tagliaferre; and Kasey Tagliaferre; 6 great grandchildren, Joseph Hogya; Maria Hogya; Mikayla John; Brian John; Roselynn Geisinger; and Violet Bottles; a sister, Katherine Gardlik; and a brother Robert Gardlik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to B.F.
