Mrs. Eloise Opal Bollen Yarbrough, age 88 of Rockmart, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Dacula at the Angels Garden Senior Community. Mrs. Yarbrough was born August 17, 1930 in Rockmart, daughter of the late Bell Dewey Bollen and the late Odessa Mae Alexander Bollen. She was a 1949 graduate of Rockmart High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Bollen was a homemaker who loved to travel, play golf and enjoyed sewing. She was also a great bridge player and most of all loved being with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Yarbrough on June 4, 2007; three sisters, Gladys Turner, Doris Gore and Helen Rainwater; and a brother, Dewey Bollen. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennie and Rodney Sibley of Braselton and Susan and George Robinson of Houston, Texas; sister, Ruth Mathis of Rome; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Glenda Bollen of Aragon; four grandchildren, Brooke Dewey, Kelly Sibley, Nicole Robinson and Matthew Robinson; and three great-grandchildren, Cole Dewey, Ava Dewey and Jack Dewey. Funeral graveside and interment services for Mrs. Yarbrough will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in Rockmart Memorial Gardens with Rev. Owen “Bud” Davis, Jr. officiating.
