Ellen Ray Bailey, age 91, of Dallas, Ga, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. She was born on December 18, 1927 in Heflin, AL, to the late Newt and Sara Ray. Mrs. Bailey was retired from The Griffin Company where she worked as the secretary. Ellen was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She in preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Mitchell Bailey. Survivors include her son, Larry Bailey of Kennesaw, GA, brother, Jimmy and Rita Ray of Birmingham, AL, grandchildren; Greg Bailey, Michelle Bailey and great-great grandchild, Hayden Bailey. The family will receive friends and family for a visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. In accordance to the families wishes, Mrs. Bailey will be cremated after the visitation and there are no services planned at this time.
