Elizabeth Wooten Wilson 2019

Frances Elizabeth Wooten Wilson, 92, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Woodard’s Care. Born in Edgecombe County on December 22, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Adell Dilda Wooten. She was married to the late Norwood Cole Wilson. Elizabeth was a bookkeeper, having worked at BB&T and Cherry Hospital. She was a graduate of King’s Business College in Raleigh and a member of Brogden United Methodist Church. Elizabeth was a fun-loving mother, grandma and Gigi. For many years her granddaughters were the apples of her eye, and then came the great-grandchildren who quickly took the spotlight. She loved her family, they were her life. Elizabeth was a cute and cuddly lady, but also possessed a quick wit. She always enjoyed the chance to travel with family and friends. Elizabeth loved her church and was very active in many capacities at Brogden. A service to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Cliff Harwood officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and at other times at the home of her son. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Wiley Wilson and wife, Sandra; granddaughters, Allison Speight and husband, Derek and Jennifer Sparrow and husband, Jeff; and four great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Colton Speight and Spencer and Elisa Sparrow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Brogden United Methodist Church, 2918 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333. Online condolences may be sent to www.seymourfuneralhome.com.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Elizabeth Wooten Wilson 2019.
