Annette Cole, 80, of Wauchula, passed away at Somers Hospice House in Sebring on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. She was born in Hardee County on April 24, 1939 and was a lifelong fourth generation resident. Annette was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and had been employed at the Hardee County School Board as office manager. She had also worked at the G. Pierce Wood Hospital in Arcadia. She was preceded in death by a son, Emmit “Butch” Cole. Survivors include her husband, Clarence Wendell Cole of Wauchula; one son, Roby Cole of Wauchula; one daughter, Deborah “Debi” Tucker of Wauchula; two brothers, Lamar Gilliard of Zolfo Springs and Larry Gilliard of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Danielle Nicole Tucker and Jonathan Kyle Tucker; and one great-grandchild, Cheyenne Elizabeth Barringer. Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services are at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Friday, May 3rd at 10:00 AM with Rev.
