Mission – Elia S. Rodriguez, 85, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at her residence in Mission. She was born on June 19, 1933 in Edinburg, Texas to Pedro Sanchez and Rita Jasso. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Anita, Crystal (Roel) Rangel; son, Andrew Edward (Satomi) Gonzalez; brother, Amadeo Jasso (Patricia) Sanchez; sister, Alicia Cantu; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Virgil Wilson’s Memorial Chapel in Mission. Funeral mass will be at 10:00am on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery in Mission.
