Electa Pearl Johnson, 94, of Dunn, died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Harnett Woods Nursing Home. Ms. Electa was born in Harnett County on May 11, 1925 to the late Handy Minson and Addie Pearl Moore Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Rodney Johnson; her brothers, Clawson Webb and Charles Webb; and niece Vivian Webb Koonce. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Grove Presbyterian Church. She was a lifelong resident of Harnett County who loved her farm, being outdoors and working in her yards. This love was only surpassed by the love she held for her family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019, at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Weaver. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens. Electa is survived by her sister, Verna Mae Wood; nieces, Dale Coats and husband Wayne, Anita Smith and husband Gary, Teresa Webb, Bonnie Jackson and husband Miles, Judy Glover, Carolyn Matthews and husband Mike; nephew, Ronnie Wood and wife Suzanne; and several great nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5pm at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home and other times at her home.
