Mr. Dwight Gene “D.G.” Warren of Campbellsville was born on July 10, 1955 in Taylor County to Nina Sue (Roy) Thomas and the late Eugene Martin Warren. He departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2019 in Louisville at the Jewish Hospital, being 63 years, 10 months, and 7 days of age. He was a former auto assembly line worker in Pontiac, Michigan, and was of the Baptist faith. Memories of time shared, often TV channel-surfing or watching movies, will be cherished for years by his family. He leaves to mourn his passing: One daughter: Jennifer Varnado of Florida, His mother: Nina Thomas of Liberty, Five siblings: Connel Willis of Clarkson, KY, Judith Geron of Campbellsville, Joyce Black and husband Kem of Minnesota, Debbie Overstreet and husband Rod of Campbellsville, and Berlin Thomas of Florida, Two grandchildren: Lily and Lauren, And a host of other family and friends. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Warren on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Greensburg Rd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 20, from 11:00 AM until time for the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the funeral expenses.
