Ferrell Duane Rinehart, age 85, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Landmark Assisted Living in Booneville. He was born January 23, 1934, in Tippah County to the late Ervin Baxter Rinehart and Irma Wallis Rinehart. He served in the United States Army, was an employee of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, and was a farmer. Duane was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, and being outdoors. He was devout in his Bible study. He enjoyed his work and his farming. Services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Marty Roberts and Lonnie Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Park. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Peggy George Rinehart of Booneville, three sons, Rolf Rinehart (Carrie), Derek Rinehart (Janet), and Lance Rinehart (Jeanni) all of Booneville, four granddaughters, Natalie Moore (Joel), Amanda Davis (Brent) both of Booneville, Leeah Fowler (Johnson) of Corinth, and Layla Rinehart of Dennis, two grandsons, Corey McPhail (Mallory) and Reed Rinehart (Abby) of Booneville, four great-grandchildren, Finley Rose Davis, Paxton Moore, Kylie Mae Davis, and Bryson Rasdon, his special caregiver, Wanda Napier, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Norma Owens, and a brother Gerald Rinehart. Pallbearers will be Rolf Rinehart, Derek Rinehart, Lance Rinehart, Corey McPhail, Reed Rinehart, Mark Rinehart, and Courtney Owens. Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Booneville Funeral Home from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Oak Hill Baptist Church’s building fund.
