Dorothy M. McDermott TRAVERSE CITY – Dorothy M. McDermott, age 93, of Traverse City passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Bay Ridge Assisted Living Facility in the loving care of her family. A funeral service for Dorothy will take place on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home at 11:00 am with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2019. Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s honor may be directed to; Cherryland Humane Society, 1750 Ahlberg Road, Traverse City, MI 49696, or Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools – Building Fund, 123 E. Eleventh Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
