Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Marie Williams, 62, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas. Service to be held at a later date in Kansas. – arrangements – Horizon Funeral Home. Dorothy Williams was born Monday, July 16, 1956 to Otis and Geraldine (Hilton) Green in Chicago, Illinois. Dorothy lived in Dodge City, Kansas for many years and worked as the head cook at Peppercorn’s. When Dorothy relocated to Dalhart she went to work for Dallam-Hartley Counties Hospital District as a cook. Dorothy was a hard worker and she was a tough lady who put up a good fight and never complained. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends. Survivors include one son: Jason Chastain of Dalhart, Texas, two daughters: Sara Maldonado of Hartley, Texas and Tara Longoria of Dalhart, Texas, two sisters: Linda Olmstead of Kansas City, Missouri and Karen Koke and husband John of Sutton, Nebraska, three brothers: Otis Green of Dodge City, Kansas, Virgil Green and Annie Soto of Garden City, Kansas and Bob Green of Kansas City, Missouri and ex-husband Charles Chastain. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother Steven Green and three sons: Daniel Chastain, Kenneth Shean and Jeremy Shean. Read More
