Dorman Hanks, 88, of Comanche, passed away in Brownwood Saturday, May 18, 2019. Dorman was born July 31, 1930, in Goldthwaite, Texas, to Earnest and Ora Mae (Griffin) Hanks. He attended and graduated from Goldthwaite High School. Dorman married Donna Faye Hinson and served in the United States Army during the Korea campaign as an Infantryman. His hobbies were fishing and hunting and was a member of the Hope Masonic Lodge of Comanche. Dorman is survived by daughter, Berva Dawn Fryar & Kendal Smith of Brownwood; son, Brent Hanks; grandchildren, Tate and Cassidy Fryar of Brownwood, Brittany and Tom Doweidt of Ft. Worth; 1 great grandchild; special friend and caretaker, Jimmie Pair. He is preceded in death by wife, Donna Faye Hanks; parents, Earnest and Ora Mae Hanks.
