Donna Stafford Locke October 26 1962 April 30 2019 (age 56)

Mrs. Donna Stafford Locke, 56, entered into the kingdom of heaven on Tuesday, April 30 2019. She was born October 26, 1962 to the late Ray and Betty Stafford. Donna had a heart for people and enjoyed teaching those with special needs for many years. In addition to her love of teaching she had a strong passion for her church family at the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville and all of the other church families that she and Ed served. Donna served the church in many capacities but perhaps her favorite ministry was the handbell choir, which she played in as long as her health would allow. She was also an avid reader and crafter who loved to keep her mind engaged. Donna also loved her special companion and unofficial service dog Fred. In addition to her parents Donna is preceded in death by one sister; Jean Stafford. Donna is survived by her loving husband Edward Locke; one sister, Sherrill Hackler (Ken); one brother, Michael Stafford (Gail); one nephew, Jonathan Stafford; one niece, Tiffany Hackler; and many beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville Sanctuary officiated by Pastor Eddie Honeycutt and Pastor T. Welch. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville (851 Ziglar rd. Winston-Salem NC, 27105) or JDRF (216 W Market St b, Greensboro, NC 27401)

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donna Stafford Locke October 26 1962 April 30 2019 (age 56).
