Donna Paulette Lahr Obert Donna was known to family as Sue. She was born July 16, 1948 in Pennsylvania. Sue was married on December 11, 1971 to Daniel Elden Obert in Millersburg, Pennsylvania and Sealed in the Hawaii Temple at Laie, Hawaii April 13, 1974. She was the daughter of the late Raymond I Lahr Sr. and Essie I Attinger Lahr Graybill and the step daughter of Harold W Graybill. She is survived by her husband Daniel E Obert of 45 years, two sisters Fay Nichols of Gratz PA, and Cynthia Ingalls of Waterbury, CT also four brothers, Ronald Lahr of Harrisburg PA, Lester Lahr of Sunbury PA, Raymond Lahr Jr. of Salt Lake City UT, and Mark Lahr of Salt Lake City UT. In addition to her parents, stepfather, and Mother-in-law Ruby Adolphson Donna was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas Lahr, and Gene Lahr. Donna was a loving and devoted wife and foster mother to Treva Charlie of Continental Divide NM and Jason Smith of Willard UT. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with family and friends. Her best accomplishment is “giving people a hard time in a good way”. She attended Lime Mountain High School Class of 1968 and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, serving in the Golding Living Center as Relief Society Secretary and called to a mission to the Magna Bishop Store House as a receptionist and worker. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Taylorsville 19th Ward chapel, located at, 2030 W. Chateau Ave, Taylorsville, UT. Viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the church. No viewing prior to the services on Saturday.
