Dolores M. (Walkowski) Lingaitis, 87, passed away at home on Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was born in Westfield to the late Alec and Anna (Zura) Walkowski. She was employed by Steigers, Ridgewood Village, Foster Machine, Old Fox Lawncare and Acura of Wilbraham. Dolores was a very active communicant of St. Peter’s St. Casmir’s Church, a member of the choir and the Rosary Sodality. She also worked in the office, made wreaths and decorated the church for Christmas at St. Casmir’s Church. Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter J. Lingaitis, and is survived by her loving children, Michael P. Lingaitis and Lynn Viles of Westfield and Karen E. Spaid and her husband John of Zion Cross Roads, VA, a special niece, Donna Brandt and many other nieces and nephews, her cousin Vera Lake, best friend Sylvia Ashley, neighbors Ralph Lees and Linda Lord and special thanks to Ellen Onofrey for visits every Sunday. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will precede the service from 12-1:30PM in the funeral home.
