David Santiago Aponte, 63, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday with his loving family by his side. David was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Pedro Malave and Felicita Aponte.. He had been employed as a construction worker for several years before retiring due to illness. He is survived by two brothers Perfecto Santiago of Long Island, NY and Samuel Malave of Providence; five sisters, Gladys Torres of Alabama, Maria Santiago, Virginia Perez and Maria Icidra all in Puerto Rico and Lydia Santiago of Taunton, MA, nieces and nephews.
