Darrell D. Charles, 80, of Bicknell went home to be with the lord on Monday, May 6th, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. He was born on February 21st, 1939 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin the son of Hilda and Anthony Charles. He married his wife Beverly on March 17th, 1984. Darrell was retired from a management position with Rockwell International and was a veteran of the US Navy, He was also a member of Mariah Creek Church. He is survived by his wife Beverly of 35 years, his two daughters, Robin Kraemer, husband Rob, Kathy Kiraly, husband Rick, three sons, Gary and wife April, Mark and Scott, two steps sons David and wife Laurie and Troy, and wife Amy. He leaves behind nine grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Alex, Ryan, Megan, Nolan, Juliana, Nathan, Jenna, Cara, Steven, Natalie, and Grace, two great grandchildren Olivia and Clara. He was preceded in his death by a son Christopher, his parents, six brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Saturday, May 11th at Mariah Creek Christian Church on Oaktown Road, Oaktown, from 2:00 until 3:30pm with the funeral service immediaetly following visitation.
